The market runs every Wednesday from 11am to 3pm at 501 Delta, Marysville, WA 98270.
As many of you know, our market has a strong emphasis on community involvement. Our management team feels very strongly about being a resource for the whole community, including low-income families and seniors. We want to encourage all of our farms and other food vendors to look into whether or not they are eligible to be WIC and FMNP approved vendors.
For those who are not familiar with these programs, they are federally funded food-assistance programs available to families and seniors. Checks are distributed at the beginning of the season to individuals who qualify, and they are allowed to bring them to markets and use them for fresh foods. Vendors deposit them after the market managers stamp them with the vendor’s and market’s unique IDs.
The application process is very straightforward and our management team will support you in accepting WIC and FMNP checks at our market. If you would like more information about becoming a WIC/FMNP approved vendor, feel free to email us or visit the Washington State Department of Health:
